About the Setman.

Dr. Dayo Brown, an academic and ministerial visionary, is a mentor and a source of inspiration to countless souls across Africa, Europe, Asia and America. He founded the Word Ablaze Ministries in 1999 having spent close to 16 years of his lifetime within the four walls of Africa's most beautiful University Campus (Obafemi Awolowo University) as a prize student, and then  University Don.

 Dr. Brown received his call into ministry in 1997 having faithfully served as an armor bearer under several seasoned ministers of God. He presently looks up to Bishops T.D. Jakes and Noel Jones; Reverends George Adegboye, and Simeon Afolabi as his spiritual mentors.

As a young growing Christian, Dr. Brown had an insatiable appetite for the Scriptures, and over time, God has seasoned and salted, tried and tested this servant of God. Dr. Brown is obviously endowed with a rare gift of the knowledge of the Word of God. His ability to handle the Word with such divine dexterity has not gone unnoticed over the years. Many have described him as the "teacher's teacher", the "walking bible", a "moving concordance" or as an "unstoppable walking talking compendium of the bible." These qualities put together are probably the things that have endeared several hundreds and thousands to Dr. Brown's teaching ministry over the years.

With a mandate to go perfect the saints, and edify the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12), Dr. Brown founded the Word Ablaze Ministries in Port Harcourt Nigeria as an outreach/teaching ministry. With a small beginning of about 80 attendees at his interdenominational LogoRhema seminars in 1999, he has grown to become a much sough-after conference speaker, ministering to a minimum of 100 congregations every year since 2000.

The Word Ablaze Ministries under the leadership of Dr. Dayo Brown has kindled the flames of God's Word in the lives of countless scores of hungry souls from Minna to Macau, from Lagos to London, from Port Harcourt to Pennsylvania, from campuses to palaces, and from hotel venues to crusade grounds across the globe.

The number of lives that have been edified in such an indelible fashion over the years is obvious proof of the impact the Word Ablaze Ministries is making in our time.

Dr. Brown is obviously a very involved minister; but aside from these many ministerial responsibilities, he is the husband to his lovely wife, Mojisola. Together, they are parents to three wonderful children: Samuel, Sarah, and Shalom. This is a man on a mission; God's chosen vessel for the hour; a uniquely articulate and highly respected servant of God whose ministry is setting a precedence of excellence in this generation.

The ministry presently has its base in Philadelphia, USA.

                                                             MISSION STATEMENT

Dr. Brown's vision, and that of Word Ablaze Ministries is to edify the body of Christ, and to perfect the saints (Ephesians 4:12) through the teaching of the total counsel of God. In a generation where several have 'itching ears,' and where the Holy Writ has been so badly mutilated by incompetent handlers, Dr. Brown has a mandate to bring forth the pure, undiluted and engrafted Word which is able to save, edify, and perfect the souls of men.

A bold declaration of both the written and quickened words of God (Logos and Rhema) will doubtless form the backbone of this end-time move of God.
